what is involed in an riht hand side conversion. i would think just swaping the dash, powerstearing, heater core, and some cutting of the firewall for the the dash and hole for the stearing shaft. anyone know of a howto online like many of the sr swap howto's?Thanks in advance.

try the search function.

btw, let me be the first to say this. RHD sucks. why do it? no performance gain. you can't utilize drive throughs. passing is a pain. new blind spots suck for driving in a LHD world.

2 words. Being unique and true silva conversion ok 6 words. well I can just have my gf do the ording at the drive through since she the one spending my money anyway might as well make her order it too. and blind spots can be reduced with buble mirrors and doing what i do all the time anyways TURN YOU HEAD AND LOOK FIRST. since my first acident were i sideswiped someone in my blind spot i tend to look instead of using mirrors alot. but still i'm just asking how it's done. and yes i ahve used the search button alreasy and got back some weird results.

True Silvia conversion? I don't think so. As long as your VIN stays the same, it's still a 240SX.

And what do mirrors have to do with the side of the car that you drive on? You still have to look across the car when you do lane changes to the other direction.

Once again another technical question gone bad. All I wanted to know is if there was something I missed about a complete Silva conversion. And I wind up getting other people's thought about what I want to do with my car. I don’t want questions or opinions I just want an answer. SIGH

seams your right i had searched b4 but i guess i didn't look far enough. i found my answer on page 5 or a RHD search. thanks for showing the noob the power of a good search. to answer my question that's about all u need and a good tool for cutting out hole's in the flirewall and a welder. both of which i have.

well, when i did mine, i used the USDM body harness AND moved the relay boxes from under the hood to under the dash. it made things a little more difficult.

One thing to remember when douing a right hand conversion is left hand turns are going to be tougher and more dangers, trying to see oncoming traffic from the passenger seat is kinda scary to me.
