Whenever I pull the old e-brake to drift my left turn drifts are always better than my rights. I try to practice both ways but it looks distinctly better whenever I drift to my left. Does anyone have similar observations? Is it because of how the open differential affects only one wheel?

That's the case with almost everyone, practice drifting to the right more, and soon it will feel the same both ways. It's mainly because of the side we sit on and the side of the road we drive on, in Japan they have the same problem with drifting to the left.

that's what happened to me (the whole left turns are easier then right)i never use ebrake; i don't even know how to yet... i clutch kicked the first few times i tried to drift, but then one day I discovered how to power over at the track. It's so much easier for me, plus I don't feel like i'm killing my clutch anymore.

its probobly because of your open diff, both wheels will lock up going left but not right. you should still be able to drift going to the right, but you will slow way down. weld your diff or get a 2 way

I'm not doing high enough speeds to worry about dropping a few mph at the moment, but I can honestly say the c/k method slows me down too, yeah its less now I put thought into it....

weld the diff and use the clutch kick method its more prodictable when you have a open diff it kicks posse for one second and sometimes it kicks one legger and thats confusing
