i have a 96 maxima

the bose audio in my car has a minature amp for each speaker.... the stereo puts out a weak signal to the speakers so when i tryed to splice into the wires the sub was getting very little signal to where i could barely even hear it and the cone was bearly moving... and acording to the my manuel there is no extra audio output on the stereo that puts out a strong enough signal... the sub i am wireing up is not expensive at all and nether is the little 200 watt amp on it.... the amp is for a 4 way high end out put which i have bought an adapter to convert four signals into 2. ... but my problem as i stated earlier is i cant figure out how to rig the sub to where it is getting enough signal... any help is much apreciated....

I talked to a guy at Best Buy about doing this and he told me that they have a way they do it. I dont really recall what he said, but i would suggest going to your local car audio center, like best buy or someplace like that, and talk to them.

crutchfield has a kit that you need when putting anything into the Bose speakers. I got one when i ordered my radio from them. Other than that my father said you need a bypass which is basically what the kit is. the easy thing would be go to crutchfield.com put in the car information and select something similar to what you have and are putting in. Put it in the cart and they will show you the recommended accessories to make it work.
