Considering getting the eibach pro kit and upgrading to a 19 inch tire, probably 40 series. Anybody running this setup or something close? How's the ride? I find the stock suspension fairly stiff as it is. Will this setup be to jarring for daily driver status? I am in San Diego and the roads in general are pretty good. Just curious as to how much of a difference to expect.

Thanks for any help!

in calgary, roads are often being dug up / ocnstruction / fairly bad
large rims with smaller profile tire and stiff eibachs ruined my back :) so never again, but with good roads one would not have any issues

I'm on 19"s (245/40/19) with eibachs and I daily it. It's stiffer than stock obviously, but handling is very improved and it looks way better. Just depends on how bad the roads are in your area.....it can get annoying at times on a bad road, i.e. 7:30am on the way to work lol

The way I look at it, the car isn't that smooth in stock form so I'll sacrifice a little comfort for better handling and looks. My other cars offer much more comfort and ride quality for when I take roadtrips.

Just remember to get an alignment after a month or so when the springs "settle". I ruined a set of rear tires because I forgot to get an alignment and my rear toe was way off.

I have the pro-kit but I'm on 20's 235/45/20's
The ride is very smooth to me until I hit a bump and I can defiantly feel the paint lines in the road if I touch them lol but it corners alot better and looks amazing compared to stock ones running around.

I have the pro-kit on 18’s. I drive my car to work daily, about 350 miles per week, and I have no problem. You will notice the extra stiffness going over speed bumps, other than that I don’t even notice the ride anymore, except when you take a corner fast, then it’s so much better than stock, it makes me smile!

I just got the eibach installed two days ago. I love it. i drive 20-25 minutes to work and 20-25 minutes back daily. The last two days, i have noticed a little difference but nothing drastic. I live in Ottawa Canada and the roads are complete sh*t. Hope it helps

Having had both the Eibach and the H&R springs now. The H&R's ride so much better than the Eibach on my 19" wheels. They are firm, but it's a different firm; very German if that makes sense.
