What a poor choice for ride of the month. Why you chose to bad mouth everyone else's 03/04 M45 when you got the spot light is beyond me. Seriously though, the stock body was a face only a mother could love? (my mother would NO DOUBT not like your ghetto rig). Ugly black side- skirts? (maybe post those remarks on the GT-R forums as well). Rear bumper indentation that many found downright ugly? (huh?)

For the Christmas break I will be driving my M45 to my family get together. Its a pretty popular car among them. Surely if I drove up in that air bag GHETTO RIG people would wonder why puberty still had not set in.

I'd consider rewriting that trash article.

No doubt some people with certain tastes like the style of that car. I think the car is a perfectly fine Car of the Month. I would have voted for it over all other M45's simply because of the amount of time and money invested in it and its uniqueness. However, I wouldn't be caught dead in it.

I think last gen M45's sold 7,000 or so cars in the US, not a terribly popular car. But if they all looked like that, the number would be more like 7.

I just don't think the front page of NICO is the place to be calling everyone else's car ugly, particularly when the people on this forum pay so many compliments to that M45. And then after acting so lofty and in possession of supreme taste, complimenting others on how they are so down to earth.

I dont think anyone wants to take anything away from Marks ride, but the quote below was fcuk'd up and is a slap in the face to every Y34 owner on the forum.

Wow....sorry to hurt your feelings. I was just speaking for myself and paraphrasing some earlier reviews I read in a few national mags when the car first came out. I didn’t say “your” car was bad looking….I said I didn’t like the way the front and rear looked. It’s my opinion and my opinion alone. I’m not sure what this has to do with being ROM…..

The article was not meant to be malicious in any way, just my opinion about MY car. If you cannot accept someone else’s thoughts on an open forum, that's what I would consider immature.

By the way, being 45 years old, puberty has come and gone many moons ago.....

The only thing that the Junction Produce exhaust on my car has in comman with a Civic is it costs almost as much as a Civic. Sorry to say, the whole car is a Junction Produce demo car, so I guess the whole car is rice.....

When I'm down in Potomac every week for work, we should meet up so I can see what a real M is suppose to look like....

I have to say as a ROTM selection committee member having to pick from your submissions is not an easy and we cannot please everyone with our choice. We want more people to want to be ROTM winners, it seems like no one really cares about it. Nico has taken on a few staffers to turn the ROTM section around and make it a more popular.

The article there was written by the owner of the car. We want to let the guys who own and spent time building their cars share his story with our members. One of us will proof the article and sent it to Matt. We feel that this is the best method to share the experience of this vehicle.

It is my mission to get more Infinitis into ROTM. The reason we selected this particular car is because it is something that has taken time and commitment to build and research his project. I applaud his effort, but everyone has an opinion on modification. I would like to see this turn into a challenge to you other M owners,I really want to get more Ms in ROTM. Your car doesn't have to be modded, give me a great shot of your clean stock M that would make a good example of your model and you'll have a great shot.

Don't get discouraged send us some more pics. I have challenged the G owners to send to some great winter pics for an upcoming selection. If you M35X guys wanna get creative either post up in the submission thread in this forum, I'm looking for snow shots, be safe nothing dangerous please.
