Hello, I just purchased a 240sx fastback recently. I am going to do a suspension upgrade with springs and struts and am deciding to go with an Eibach pro & Koni Sport setup. My reason for changing my suspension is that all four struts are dead, and the front springs have been cut (because of the previous owner). Ihave read a great amount of people's opinions about the height being dropped and everything, and I would like to have some opinions before I do this modification before it becomes a mistake.

My problem here is that when I got my car, it came with a body-kit and although it is not looked dropped, the whole kit makes it look like it is dropped with a 5"-6" clearance off the ground. I read on the previous boards that eibach pro's barely drop the height of the vehicle. I do not know if that is true or not, but I live in an area with a bunch of speed-bumps that are unavoidable. Will the Eibach springs be a bad idea to install?

I have the Eibach Pro-kit on, and the drop is slight compared to most sport spring sets. The things is, the S13 came with an off-road ride height stock, so even though the Pro-kit is a slight drop, it looks as if it's stock, because you just dropped it to where it should have been to begin with. If you got a body kit and want to keep it from scrapping, and you have rough roads where you are, I'd say Pro-kit is not a bad idea. Anything lower will likely be problematic.
