I measured my ride height today and the fronts were 26.5 the book says that they are supposed to be 27.80 inches from wheel well to ground.

1) I have 225-60-15 is the smaller diameter affecting ride height that much?

2) If not #1 then would it be safe to say i need new springs since everyhting but the third link and steering knucke have been replace?

Every Q I measure is different. Do you have brand new shocks as the nitrogen will go flat allowing a little sag and the 225 depending on brand and inflation could be up to 0.6" lower.

Never changed oem springs [except to lower] but who knows........you could dissasemble one and follow the free length specs in the manual, guess they are there for a reason .

The Shocks were installed in march so id assume they are still pretty new. I might just have to take one apart and measure it. I was asking because this could be the cause of my camber woes. I figure if im sagging bout 1inch then thats probably where my negative camber is coming from as I have tried everyhting else. Thanks Dennis

I'm sure you haven't tried everything: as the shock towers can bend inwards, the third link can bend, the lower traverse arm rubber can wear.If the car has ever hit a curb or been in any kind of accident, a tiny amount of non standard [LESS THAN 1/8-1/4"] total error is enough to add 1.0 degrees of negative camber.

You will find hundreds of side to side and angular measurements in the shop manual. The section BF "Body Aligment" !

But easiest to measure a springs free length. To start! Then the distance between the strut bolt holes across the engine. Then replace the third link if these are ok.

The 90 Q is 26.97" with the correct tire so a 1/2" lower would be roughly 0.4 degrees extra camber.Don't have a 94 book handy to check why the wheel arch height is higher.
