We would just knock out all the gears and make them 100% free coasting. We added neons, working radios, headlights, custom paint, everything to them. We had about 7 of them and we would drive around in 2 pick up trucks and tackle the biggest hills around. Average speed we would get is about 30 mph, but sometimes it would be on the upwards of 40 mph. One 40 mph hill is the one in the movie Dogma when Chris Rock falls out of the sky and they are in the middle of no where on that bridge. We also did it road rash style and crashed into each other at those speeds and tried making one another wreck. We had nothing to stop or slow down but our shoes.
There is nothing like drifting a power wheels at 40 mph and the whole body of it twisting like its about to snap.
Actually, right before I moved out here I towed one of the huge Silverado power wheels to my buddys house a few miles away tied to the back of my pit bike, on the roads. People would just slow down and stare as I clipped past them wound out in 4th gear pulling a power wheel dam near big as my dirt bike a few feet behind me sliding around all over the road.
Ahhhh the good times!
