This guy Richard from Venutra says his sr20det does 62.1mph in 3.7sec http://users.adelphia.net/~projectd/main.html click on richards tuning....doesnt a ferrari do 60mph in 3sec??? what a boolsh!tter lol

Chances are he measured that time using some sort of gtech type device and they can be pretty inaccurate if not calibrated correctly (weights are very important).

G-TECH said my car did it in 4.8 seconds. That ofcourse with drag radials. Of course I knew the exact weight of my car.

Wait, now that I think about it...aren't the hp and tq readings the only ones reliant on weight?

Yep, 0-60 and 1320 time are solely calculated with the internal accelerometer of the G-Tech. If they are calibrated before you start by zeroing out the reading, then they are fairly accurate.

Soft suspensions and hard shifts tend to throw the accuracy off by using a small amount of gravity to fool the G-Tech into thinking you're accelerating faster than you are at times.

yes. this was my understanding. only calculated values derived from the time based measurements rely on weight.
