I'm going to assume this was not on a street so I can leave this thread up.

I take it this was a 2.5i Z4, in which case he's driving a girl's car anyway.

the problem with this is now he is gonna ***** at his parents about how he was owned by an econobox and come back with a parent bought porche.

oh and if the dude really had the 3.0 liter, he doesnt know how to drive, by all rights that should have beaten your car.

Don't get cocky, there is a fine line between good driver and good car. That BMW is certainly overpriced, but it still has good features like a full tuned suspension and a 50/50 weight ratio. It has approximatly 13lbs per hp. While on the other end the Spec V has around 15 per hp. Also having an auto really hurts you especially on a roll because you can't downshift.

My overall opinion, if i had rich parents i would go for a M3.

Don't the 2.5 inline 6 do 200 hp anyhow? Wouldn't a 2.5i be a pretty close if match if not better then a 07+ spec v? Or is it possible to build an even heavier car then the new sentra's 3000+ lb?

Oh wait just read he was running an auto.

The 2.5i has 184hp and 175ft/lbs. It's about 150-200lbs heavier as well, so it's not much of a match.

The 3.0i has 225/214 and about the same weight, so an auto one could be slower than a Spec.

So, expanding upon my earlier statement. Auto Z4 3.0i = girl's car.

What the Hell does that have to do with this thread?

I'll be watching your posts. I get the strange feeling that #11 will be in the Classifieds.

Last time I checked, in an auto when you floor it it automatically downshifts.

Ya but it takes it's time doing so.
