I'm out of ideas, help...

Under load or not, the car runs rich (9-10 AFR) during that RPM range. All other RPMs she's fine and she idles super too.

Taking fuel out w/ the SAFCII does nothing. The dyno shop I went to said they'd never seen a car with such good vacuum. Shop & I spent 30min looking for leaks but found nothing (under no load).

I have no ECU codes. Z32 MAF, TPS, etc all read within factory specified ranges and are stable/linear. Timing is jumpy at idle but stays at 20 when adjusting base idle. Component tests of the IACV AAC/FICD read good but pin A off the EFI subharness doesn't give me 12V. Not sure if that's some Enthalpy ECU wiring conversion issue.

Scott tuned the ECU on the dyno when I had a T3/T4. Ever since I switched to a GT3071R, I've had this problem. More fuel is dumped b/c the ECU is seeing more air - perhaps it's the short intake causing more turbulence?

Any ideas on what would cause this under load or no load?

i had that problem along with slight stumbling and hesitation. It was that my grounding on the negative post got old.

just for good measures check to see the resistance is around 2-5 ohms i believe.

SO with the SAFC set to those RPM's it has no effect on the mixture when leaned out at all? For the record, what are you using for O2 readings?

Nice car by the way. Are those pics at the Hanscom Hobby Shop?

Hey bro,

The SAFC testing was done on a dyno (w/ wideband) under load. Some settings in that RPM range worked then 15sec later they wouldn't. That leads me to the MAF turbulence theory. I'll look for some 3" honeycomb before I devise a whole new intake setup.

BTW, that shop is at Tampa. 16 bays, 8 w/ lifts! Hanscom is a POS partly b/c there are no enthusiasts up here.

I found that my car would run differently if I tuned the 900-1000 setting when cold, then it would if it was warmed up.
