Meh, anything like that is bound to happen. As the rate of Nico members increases so does the amount of uneducated car people. Just because certain people have a different taste in vehicle styling doesn't mean they're bad people.

Just like everyone I hate seeing these ricers ruining our car scene and drive wrecklessly around town, but meh..... it happens.

Plus it makes it easy to find wrecked part cars......

I am of the opinion that people really shouldn't give a crap about what other's do to their cars. I'm sure some would brand my own cars as "ricer" or other such titles, but in reality, I think there are very rare cases of a car being "ricer" or "JDM" all the way. I try to keep away from branding... my business side coming out.

On that note, ricer's suck!

Can't you say the same thing the other way around? i.e. someone who doesn't go to UTI can do anything someone who does...

I'm not sure why he was a d!ck about it... maybe it was in the way these kids on the site saying they were going to UTI and that made them the **** - iono bcs I didn't go through the whole site. Aren't some of those kids Nico members?

Whether they are or not, there's really no need to bag on them... or on ppl because they choose to do or not do certain things.

I think this thread got a lil too personal somewhere along the lines... probably because it started out by singling out some members on the forum.

All fun and games when talks were general, but yea, I think it's gotten a little too far.

How much do UTI courses cost anyway? How is the structure of the classes compared to ROP or community college certificate programs?

The hole cours cost about 23K but it will get you one year of hands on training towards your ASE certification. That is the main difference between UTI and community, that and the manufacturer specific training. As far as the structure I will have to let you know I start in aug.

Thanks Its not that bad because you can apply for the same grants as a four year school. Plus you have student loans.

OR what you could do is take our wings, chop our limbs off, then take our neons and break em and rub the shards in our faces, then wrap our bodies up in our own 5% window tint, and then bury us in the ground and use the body kits as headstones....yeah i'm a ricer, but it makes no sense (to me neways) to soup up your car and make it look stock. OOOOooo the element of suprise, please it gets old, and ricing the hell out of your car is also retarded looks but no balls, thats being a ricer, since the 240 is not a domestic, every one i know that has an american made car call nissans and such all ricers! SO ALL OF YOU NEED TO STFU. hey ppl like my car and its not all rice nor all power I do both at the same time. when i have limited cash and have to decide between rice or performance, i pick the later.- i'm done... peace

i wouldn't doubt it. i didn't mean that everyone that goes to UTI is an idiot, just that guy. just that he thinks that once he graduates from UTI will make him so much smarter and every auto company will be banging down his door. any school that feeds you that much bull**** requires some outside corroboration.

i already knew i was a d!ck. thanks for the confirmation though.

see how easy that was.

it's not what ricers do to their cars (though it does annoy the crap out of me) it's the attitude that they present themselves with. the previous post is an example. i've met plenty of people on boards that had nice cars that thought they were hot **** who were just as annoying. they do just as much to drag the board down as ricers.

in case SirSilvia is still reading this, there is a difference between giving your car the looks to back up the speed (or just making it look fast) and rice. one requires a sense of style and one just requires tacking cheap crap on your car.

thats exactly why i made this thread...u can tell a ricer the truth and tell him ways to better his car but he just doesnt give a d***....its all about the attitude...i did not mean to on any body on this forum iam just sick of the constant ricer attitudes that make me esp. when u try and help and they dont listen....so cdlong and me are on the same page

My car doesn't have the speed (97.4 whp), a lot of looks (neons, wild body kit, cf everywhere, wing, slammed), is auto... but I can still hold my own @ the autox / spirited driving.

I think i'm hot ****, not because of my car, but because I'm hot ****.

No need to put a general populace down... individuals that you meet... sure why not... but no need to put down a whole group who happens to care about the looks of their car more than the speed (seriously, how many of you can handle 100% of the stock hp???), whether or not it actually looks good.

Yes, there is a thing as good rice & bad rice.

And don't forget... I'm hot ****... we can close this thread now

Yeah, this thread's run it's course. I guess I'm a little tired because I feel no need to sugarcoat this.

The only people worse than people with no taste are the people who need to legitimate their own garbage by tearing others down.

The UTI bashing was completely unnecessary. -1 for anyone who gives a person guff for investing in his or her future.

With all the whining about FnF3 and the resurgence of other various hatewagons, I see no reason for any more bitchfest threads.

And I'm usually a pretty nice guy...
