All in all probably about 5 hours of sanding and washing and watching coats dry. Not too shabby for the outcome IMO.Dasoupdude wrote:Looks decent, how long did it take you to do?
Haha I don't think I'll paint anything in the engine bay thats plastic, but if I really feel the need for underhood bling other than my intake I'll just polish or paint the intake manifold. As for calipers, its entirely possible that I paint em. Don't like anything flashy on those myself, unless they merit it. (unless its just black)
Actually that would look great, If you decide to paint anything else, such as engine cover, batt cover etc. try and post a small write up.
You should, black was a consideration of mine for sure. Paint is a great way to change up your look. Just make sure you do it right._b.jaye_ wrote:i been thinkin of doin mine matte black next spring. (note sig)
not bad man
I agree. I think the wheels themselves look good but not on that color car.PalmerWMD wrote:I really like it when somone DIY's a simple but fun Mod to their car.
But I think with Candy type colored cars you need a dark wheel.
Maybe charcoal or Matte Black.I like this example:
