Hi everybody.

I just took home my 1st 240 yesterday.Ive been reading these boards for a while and Im glad I did I learned a lot about my car from here.

Well here's the specs:1989 CoupeMaroon w/black trim5speed (of course)155kRuns cherryNeeds a little cosmetics and some de-ricingHas a "Thunder" cold intake system (is it good or not? Probably a Wal-Mart special)Straight pipes and a HUGE fart cannon (Got to go).It also has windshield washer neons (yuck!).It had a NISMO sticker on the back window but its already gone.

Thats all he had a chance to do to it thank god, no GTR, APC or Type-R horsepower boosting stickers yet :)

Anyway, just wanted to say hi, and I'll be around a lot now that I have a REAL car :ylsuper

Well, tim to start the Civic Huntin' :chainsaw

My car is still a little 'ricey' because of my wonderful type-s seat covers. Once I manage to find a decent set of leather S13 seats though, I'll dump those things like yesterdays trash.

burnt him...hmm...was he awake? did he know you were attempting this so-called "burn"? perhaps there was a misunderstanding...he had recently "burned" one himself, and was in the process of transporting said "burning" objects and felt the need to lay low...so low he could barely see over the steering wheel. so, so low.

I think that goes for most 240s here. i seem to see A LOT of FBs and hardly any coupes on the roads. i dont know if maybe the coupe was made in less numbers than the FB or what.

and to the new guy, welcome to the boards! you'll fit right in not only cause you have a 240, but also cause your 240 was abused like the majority of all the other S13 owners.

My vehicle was the victim of rice as well, poorly welded on fart CANNON, gigantic dash tach (not wired correctly) bad stereo install job, etc. It's ALMOST back to good condition, except for that damn cannon..........

Yeah N1s are on the list for sure Zero.

And as far as the Lex, I was in high speed lane going 75, started to pass him (he was in middle lane). He started to speed up so I dropped it in 3rd and took off he sped up but couldnt catch me, it was a very short "race" (if u can call it that) b/c I was taking an exit, but until I started to slow down from 125 he was too afraid to weave the traffic and couldnt catch me.

I know my car wasnt faster I said I was a DRIVER and I could weave in the hwy traffic and Mr. GS was afraid to. Pay attention to what I said b4 you try to flame me.

haha, lawnmower on crack, i just read that. and acura legends are actually pretty fast too. but like you were saying, he was scared to drive in and out of traffic. why would he mess up his $40k car that handles and is fast i wouldnt mind having a JDM Aristo with the 2JZ motor.

My car was a victim of Rice itself... Playboy bunny stickers on the headlight covers, Chrome pacer rims, Black racing stripes, no muffler just a straight pipe with a crap tip on it, stickers on the side windows of like this tribal junk, a sticker on the dash that said "angel to some, Devil to others", Cheap racing pedals, LED windersheild washer nozzles...... it took me some time to get it back to where I wanted it... but it is De-Riced now
