Riced out jerks honda=poopoo

ok so i was coming back from a friends house driving my 98 altima at like 2 in the morning. i was driving through this small city with a series of stop lights. i dont ever really race, but this riced out guy with his 97 accord with giant 9 inch muffler jetting out the back and body kits scraping the ground pulls up to the stop light and looks at me and revs the engine with his stupid a** smile on his face. the light turns red and he takes off screaching, and i just drive normally up to the next light where he is waiting impatiently. he then proceeds to rev the engine again and looks at me. i finally get fed up with him and when the light turned green, i just floored it(i have a 5 speed, so i thing im an F1 driver). it was the best take off ive ever done and beat his stupid a**, and my altima was completely stock and grandma looking. this is the best part here...its saturday night right, so it is ladies night at the bars so there are 100 cops patrolling. so after i beat him i take a right onto a cross street and he flys buy trying to prove something, and right then he gets pulled over by a cop and i just drive away laughing at him, and thank my lucky stars that it wasnt both of us getting a speeding ticked. i like honda ricers even less now. just thought i might share this little tid bit with you guys. ill probably get massively flammed for posting but i am mad at honda ricers and hat to vent...

i took have had the ricer thing happen to me. this dude was in like bout a 99 accord with the V-6 with the big A** flowmasters hangin out the back. anyway he kept floorin it beside me and finally at 40mph i dropped it to 2nd and pulled him all the way to 100 and by that time had him by 6 car lengths. my alt. is a 96 (CAI,gutted pre-cat,NISMO 168 thermostat, and cat back exhaust) hehe i love when i smoke the honda guys but love it even more when it's a V6 car that i smoke.

Perhaps I am asking a stupid question, but I always assumed that the term "rice burner" or "ricer" was an insult aimed at japanese cars in general... aren't Nissans "rice burners" also?

no, a ricer is someone with stock piping all the way to the muffler where it goes to a 9 inch muffler fart can. the car also is lowered scraping the ground with a giant body kit jetting 4 feet out in front of the car and underglow. there might also be an aluminum wing big enough to support a boeing 747

ahhh... that makes more sense. Those cars are pretty ridiculous. I have always been amazed at how intense the spoilers on some of those cas can be, even though most of them don't ever take their cars over 100mph.

Isn't a spoiler pretty much useless unless you are going 100+?

There is this guy in my neighborhood who has this like 5-foot tall monstrosity of a spoiler on the back of his car, and the big old fart muffler to boot. My favorite part is that none of the body panels match in color because all of the after market parts are various shades of primer and he hasn't saved up enough money to paint it yet! I think it says something like "dragon racing" in the back window...

Makes me laugh every time!

Actually without proper downforce on the front a rear spoiler is pretty much worthless on a front drive car. You need the drive wheels pressed down too.... Besides those guys look like shopping carts with those dumbass spoilers on them.

my 01 altima pulls all those hondas too. im not riced out. im going for more of a sleeper car, but i have an intake ande magnaflow exhaust. anyway i love beating civics into the ground and suprising all those v6 accords.
