Hello,

I was curious if anyone here knew of a place where I could get an aftermarket rear toe hook for my S13. Also, where do people get vinyl graphics?

I was thinking about installing a JDM tyte toe hook with a small vinyl graphic arrow pointing to it on the bottom of the bumper, JGTC style....

ya im at college what can i say i sit on here 12-14 hours a day, trust me im surprsed at how quick it adds up too. and no i cant go do anything else because i get random susbtance testing before i fly, and i dont have my car here. its better than playing halo, thats what everyone else does.

id so go to a metal/body shop and they could probably fab something up, i know a lot of smaller race teams like world challenge and stuff have actual race shops that you can take your car too, they dont only work on their own cars. maybe you could find a shop like that. for the decals go to like a sign shop and they can make one and print it on any color vinyl you want.

Fly? Are you in ROTC by any chance? As soon as I graduate I'm going to join the Air Force Officer school and step up to the plate for my country. I've already been through officer recruiting and they're just waiting for me to get that piece of paper that says I'm officially smart.

im in rotc but im flying as a commercial aviation major here, we dont get to fly for rotc, you get comissioned then you fly, but in the meantime im also going to be a certified airline pilot for backup

nope my laptop sitting here on my desk and i sit here and study and check it every 15 minutes or so, from about 830 in the morning until midnight, aside from classes, and im here for even longer on weekends. my gpa isnt bad, around a 3.2-3.3.

For road race purposes. The tow hook in my initial post is what I'm looking for, if anyone knows where to get one. They just bolt in, so maybe I'll go down to the machine shop and make my own.

As for Graphics--www.squierdesign.com --SCCA member, does a bunch of graphics for racers--so he will understand about the "Tow" and "Arrow "graphics you are looking for.

yea no offense but race cars have that only because the rule book says they need it... not because it looks cool. So your gonna add this big protruding toe hook.... with a bright colored arrow pointing to it, because its in the rule book for some SCCA racing class.... WOW!

I'm trying to get the car prepped for SRX (?) class racing. Similar to SE-R club racing, only any Nissan with pretty much any motor configuration can enter. I just knew that if I posted here, it would be taken as mega-rice, but I didn't know where to source a tow hook!

Rear ladder bar is from jspec. com. You can get front and rear shipped for $200 (that's what they quoted me). Be warned though, you must drill your own holes in frame to mount. Plus, EVERYTHING needs to be dropped out of the way to do it right!!
