anyone know a trusted registered importer in the US that can bring in skylines. im not worried about them legalizing it i just want to find someone who could get the car on US soil in a more legal way than just driving it from canada to the US.

go to the stuck post and go to the third website down. its nhtsa, and there should be a list of RI's and where they're located

and it will take you right to where you want to go. Just scroll down a tad and you'll see the list.

The other method might be a bit cumbersome.

i have gotten so much info about skylines over the past 2 years it is all running together and i am getting confused. just to clarify;

An RI will have the legal ability to bring in a skyline and maybee deliver it to me. they just dont have the ability to register or in most cases legalize it. right??

If you look at the list in the stickey that I posted up tonight, look the the far right box. You'll see a list of numbers. Check those numbers with the notes above the table. Numbers 2 and 10 are the most important ones. As far as getting it legalized, you would probably have to contact them.
