Sooo my fellow altima couper's, I just recently landed a job at Brown university in Rhode Island for the summer and I was wondering if you all had any suggestions as to fun s*** to do while i'm over there.

Find a woman, and take her to firewater. Or whatever it's called. They play music throughout the canals, and they float giant torches down them. I'm told it's very romantic. If you're looking for women for this endeavor, RISD is nearby, and they kindly place all of their well-framed women out on the front lawn, I discovered, when I went there for an IDSA thing. If women aren't your thing, P-Town on the Cape isn't so far away...

The Roger Williams Zoo isn't a bad way to kill a few hours on a lazy afternoon. You're within an hour's drive of Boston, and there's no shortage of things to see and trip on in a drunken stupor there.

sweet! thanks for the tip, i'll be travelling mostly by bus and train (since i'll have no car out there), but yeah i'd be down to meet up with some of the other coupe guys while i'm out there. And women are my thing, i don't really care to swing the other way.

They used to do Cars & Coffee all around Boston, but I can't seem to find any listing for this season's events.

i read about cars and coffee on speedhunters, it would be interesting to go to one of those, though i too have been unable to find info.

Fire and ice is a great place. Newport is nice too, huge mansions and an all girls college. I dont think the train goes there from providence though. but it takes i think an hour to get to boston by train. i would focus more there, ct is not that impressive but downtown providence is cool. The only good club i remember there was the complex, but i dont know if it is still around or not it has been 2 yrs since i lived out there. where IB lives its about a 40 min drive depending on how many cops are on 95.

I loved Fire & Ice, but unless you're going mid-day, it sucks to get in.
