i hear from some people that this conversion is hella hard to do and costs mass money and from others ive heard its pretty easy. now with a sr front clip are there any more parts you would need to complete this?i mean you have the firewall and dash and all...right?

i know where i can find a RHD conversion for my car.who would have thought you could find that in mississippi at a junkyard. i think it would be kinda cool to do. my car is automatic so it wouldn't be that much of a problem to shift.

conversion isn't too hard to do. finding all the parts will be difficult though. Like the firewall, you've gotta cut that out from some rhd car or punch holes through your existing firewall, you'll be doing alot of hydraulic line bending for your bmc and clutch master, dashboard (good luck with this one seriously), the heater core, steering rack, etc. It'll take time, but shouldn't be hard to do the work.

Shouldnt be too hard? I'd say more like will be hard and time consuming. This is even harder than swaping in a new motor because you have to remove EVERYTHING, source hard to find parts like a RHD dash and center console and do alot of cutting and welding. Not only that, the firewall has to be done perfectly or else your car wont be road legal. If its not done right and you get in a front end collision, the firewall can snap out because of crappy welds/poor installation. Use your imagination to think of all the horrifying things that can happen because of that.
