I'm brand new to this forum, and I recently purchased a beauty of an S13 clip. Its black, and included all body panels, lights... basically a running car cut in half at the A pillar. It also includes the complete interior from the front half, which means I basically have everything I need to do a Right Hand Drive conversion if it is remotely possible without weeks worth of work and custom fabrication... since I have the whole clip. Something tells me it would be a good idea, and aside from that, it would also cure some of the problems with having to extend the wiring harnesses, etc. I was checking out my FC RX-7's passenger side floor panels, and it looks to have a lot of the holes for everything... maybe the 240 does too? some of the spots were covered up by other things, but I could tell that the hole was there for the clutch, and I hope maybe the steering rack, brake, and accelerator holes are already there, maybe someone could check this out for me. I have driven RHD subaru's in the US and I just think it feels more natural to be pulling the shifter towards you when youre upshifting. I would really love to have a RHD car. I am also concerned with the legality of the conversion... can anything be done to make the car completely legal as a RHD car (leaving aside the fact that it has an SR20DET motor, which I know is illegal)? I am also really good friends with guys at a big performance shop that does inspections... they help me with my RX-7 a lot, especially with emissions and stuff, and I know they would love to help me with this. Any information is greatly appreciated, and I hope to become a very active member of this site once I get the project started. Thank you.
