LOL at drift phenom trying to be unique. Doing something just to be different is ghey, especially when it will cost alot of money, and be totally impracticle for use on the street. If you can't do the work yourself, then there is much better ways to be different and unique than doing an RHD conversion. Getting a shop to do a nice clean conversion, can get pricey. Just get a sweet *** drift charm, or cool JDM wakaba sticker to be ultra unique and special!!!

If you don't have money to burn, then that conversion money would be much better spent on replacing worn out parts, suspension upgrades, tires, and track time.

There is a place i know that does it. but it is a little far from where you are. Import Intelligence in west chester PA. Matt Waldon is the owner. check out his web site. he already did one, and it is beautiful

i would hopefully be using it for the track. i have driven a RHD drift car before and i feel more comfortable drifting on the right side better. i wouldn't be using it for daily driving. plus, i aiming towards a totally JDM silvia. its just what i want to do. and plus. it would be like one of the last things i do to the car after the motor swap, suspension, wheel, and tire upgrades, brake upgrade, and lsd. after all performance is done, i move onto the ps13 front light conversion with an origin body kit and then finally the RHD conversion

Ok cool. Well hopefully by then you will have the experience to do it yourself, because it will be pretty pricey for a shop to do it. In all reality though, you wouldn't ever have a JDM silvia unless you imported one. It would just be a converted 240sx. I know most people would never know, but if it were me personally, and I were going through all that time and effort and money, it would bother me thinking that it is just a converted 240 if I was aiming for a silvia. Whatever floats your boat though. At least with RHD, you will have alot more flexibility when it comes to turbo, manifold and downpipe choices.

are you going to be doing most of the work yourself? or send out to a shop? IMHO, I would just buy a clean RHD from Japan and then transfer whatever you have on your 240 onto it. It would be a lot cheaper that way I think.

Out here, I believe there are more RHD Silvias and 180SXs than 240SXs. Unfortunately, a clean LHD 240SX is a dying breed here

i don't plan to do it myself.

1. no garage and tools2. i'm only 18 and just got into tuning, very little mechanical knowledge3. i wish i could do it myself, maybe in like 2-3 years i'll be able to.

Like what he said use Japan-Partner.com. They are great people and are willing to help. You will have to talk to them though because they are kind of uneasy when importing to America because of the laws and resrictions here.

hey mike, i realize this is an old thread, and you probably sold your silvia by now... but did you get it from a dealer or did you import it?
