The rims have arrived, but whoa I still languish in limited computer capabilities. For now I can only get on line very infrequently, but I'll have it fixed soon.

As for pics, they'll have to wait. I decided to wait as long as possible (existing tread), before swapping them. FWIW, they are a bit more brown and less shiney than I thought.

If you knew how these rims (or how I think) are going to look, you might soil yourself as well!

Sorry, Wes :(

The 22nd doesn't look good as it's the last weekend my boys are at home for a month or so, and I've decided to put off unpacking (WELL wrapped, but I checked one) the wheels/tires until I'm closer to "needing" them.

I'll tell you this, if by the end of the summer, you have the $$, I might sell them to you for my cost (whadda buddy, huh).

Hey, whatever it takes to get Wes's chrome piepans off his car and on to mine! Well, short of going to his house and stealing them.

And if I did steal them, I'd at least have the courtesy of putting my silver piepans on his. I have morals, damn it.

I like them, though they are a touch darker and less shiney than I thought. But since I don't plan on installing them right away (maybe I'm lazy) I thought given as many times as you've asked for someone to buy rims, that'd you buy from them later???

Thought you might like that idea.

We have cops in our neighborhood, I wouldnt recommend it.

This just in, a local brown man caught stealing poor teenage kid's chrome wheels for his older car!

Hmmm, picturing a car chase scene from Dukes of Hazzard (not that I've ever watched that crazy show engineered specifically for white folks).

Hahahahahha so true, so true!

Oh and Rex... bronze wheels typically look great with dark colors, including burgundy, navy blue, polo green, and black.

Lookin forward!

Rex, I have NO comment on the non-shiny wheels. :(

BTW, my chrome 16's go on the auction block in a week or so. :)

Late to the party, what kind of wheels?

I finally am getting my 9" rear OZ's (since the GM of OZ N.A.'s son grenaded the clutch in his Focus & it's now on the lift) :D

I'm going to have them powdercoated bronze, too, IMHO, they'll look great with the IPQ & other bronze stuff.

Pics, please, or post what brand, etc.

Here's kind of the whole story on my new rims. I wish I had a better pic for them to photochop.

Jesda.... It all depends, but most likely YES...

If you buy me a set of cheap snow tires you can have mine... or something like that...
