I'm trying to change my avatar to a gif picture.

its a penguin typing on a notebook as in Linux image.

gif file gets corrupted, when i look at it in threads. How come?

every gif i tried is like that.

Can you send me the gif, and I'll give it a look?

I can't think of any reason, why it wouldn't work.

Look at my current avatar. that i say, sucks.

that gif file is normal when i view it with WinXP picture viewer.

Did you resize it to 70x70 before uploading, as that's the maximum size?

It looks like it might be a bit larger and is somehow getting "smushed" and losing the animation.

I'll try thanks. being a comp science major , how do you do it? photoshop includes options to do that right?

You were right. its about its size. i'll try to resize that penguin thing.

I had an animated one of Calvin I wanted to use, but could never get it to re-size (using PSP's animator) and look right, good luck.
