Wiring up my sr for swap and i discovered that the speed sensor input wire is cut at the consult AND the ecu and does not continue through the rest of the harness. Should it be completely gone? I'm looking at my ka(e) harness and the wire continues throughout the loom from both the consult and ecu. Obviously the previous owner tried a speed gov cut but the wire is completely gone. Big deal or not?

The speed sensor has two wires that run the the speedometer (yellow black and yellow blue). From the speedometer the yellow/green wire runs through the dash and down to the ECU. So the speedometer will work without that wire.
