If you call Joe at IOS he can hook you up.A lot of parts aren't listed on the website.

I wonder if that information can be found here is close enough or if the 300ZX automatic transmission is totally different.

Maybe it's the [31935] REVOLUTION SENSOR part you need?

You have already tried running the self-diagnostic program?

Check out Figure 1 in this pdf file too.

It's funny because I tried doing the self diagnostics and the light doesnt even blink at all. I did everything word for word and it never seems to work, is there something i could possibly doing wrong? I installed the new TPS that i got from IOS today and to no avail. it didnt fix the problem, however, after installing it and unplugging then replugging i turned the car off and turned it back on. Guess what pops up? The At light starts blinking. and it doesnt even bother doing it again afterwords so it must be something that is on the transmission that is failing here and there, or something that is making the ECU think, oh snap, somethings wrong with the transmission.

My condition is getting worse however, when driving ( around 50mph ) the car is sort of jerking back and forth ( rpms going up and down ) and the car almost losses all of it's power when at idle ( foot on brake in drive ) and almost shuts off on me. I have to park the car, turn it off and on and off and on again about twice and then it's fine. Another symptom im having is i could have my foot on the gas steady (in about second gear) and the RPMS just shoot up to 3,000 like im stepping on the gas, only im not.

I tried to live with this but clearly it's getting worse and I love this car to death but this problem is getting the best of me I just want an explanation and a solution to what this problem is . I mean.. I cant even drive other cars now because i love the way the J feels and handles nothing compares to it I am for sure in love <3

Just for drill check the condition of the Revolution Sensor wiring and connectors, and spot their internal contact points with some dielectric grease before re-connecting them.

Based on issues I once had with my F-150 pick-up, the jerking at around 50 mph sounds more like a MAF related problem.

How long has been since the transmission fluid and filter were changed, and the transmission and cooling system flushed?

Yeah but i replaced the MAF with a reman from napa, i dont know the last time the transmission was flushed, ect. the pan was dropped about a month and a half ago and everything seemed fine, maybe i should just get all of that stuff done? How would i drill check the rev sensor?

By "just for drill", I meant "as a simple exercise" and I'm pretty sure revolution sensor can be replaced without dropping the transmission, but I don't know if any fluid will be lost when it's removed, which is why I suggested simply checking the wiring and connectors.
