I just took my J30 in to check for the transmission being a tad bit jumpy. They hooked their "zomgridiculuslyexpensivecadillacofcomputerscanners" up to my car, and checked the transmission. It came up with "Revolution Sensor". What the deuce? Can't find it anywhere!

Also, where can I get a turbine sensor and a temp sensor for the transmission? I'm not finding these things....

The revolution sensor is a common part that goes on the transmission, up here it has to do with the bitter cold and hot, in other areas with age. It goes on top of the transmission. You got to drop the transmission a bit to install.

In laymans terms the revolution (also called turbine) sensor basically forces the internal clutch in an automatic transmission to upshift and downshift appropriatly based on load.

Here's a bit of fun. Turns out the Revolution sensor is ok. My bushings for my rear diff are bad. My rear diff is floating. :X
