its your signature and i'm the dreamer? my car runs! so apparently i understand way more than you.... and the gtr's that run the dog boxes are mainly pro cars. there are alot of 9 sec gtrs out there that still run the stock box in japan and au. you dont give these drivelines enough credit. with the proper fluids in it and not a already trashed trans it would hold up better than you think. when it comes to trans's its mainly all driving technique on how long they last.
Your car runs and its stock, congrats. Mine did the same for over a year. Its now modified if you had seen any of the threads I had posted about my issues with my car. You would know that. So I'm no dreamer.

Fluids fluids, yeah Redline, ok its good stuff, but not god that will save any transmission thats under extreme pressures. I do give them credit factory they are strong as ****. But when your taking them 2-3 thousand RPM higher than what they are supposed to have and another 400-600 hp than what they are supposed to have. **** breaks. People break their shifter forks at factory HP levels. And blow out gears at only 400hp. Ask Gawdzilla on that one.

You don't like to break traction when you floor it? You think a 700rwhp 240 is going to hook on the street?...

How about this for you, don't talk about it. Go and do it and come back. If you really researched and knew what you were talking about you would have no need to post. It would be done allready.

If you're going to rev your engine up to 9 grand, I've been told that you also need to get a balanced crankshaft, just to be on the safe side.
