I recently purchased TEINS S-Tech springs

The story is that i only needed shocks, the shocks was super gone. After I installed the new shocks and springs it felt so much better and the ride was smooth.

My rate from scale of 1-10 10 being goog

a 10

the drop isnt much but it is quite noticeable it took about 2.5 hours to do the whole thing with the help of 2 others and an impact gun

Ill provide some pictures later when i take pictures of the aftermath

btw i used KYB gr-2 because they were cheap at summit racing and it had free shipping and no tax.

BTW this was the first time i ever worked on any nissan ive worked on many hondas.... and might i add this was very easy 2 bolts upfront and 1 on the back....

my only grudge is that the front were very hard to unscrew..... and it seems that the original owner never changed the spring....

next inline is PILOT F/R bars.....

:ylsuper :ylsuper

Hey i would love to see the pictures of the drop on your car. I tried clicking the links that you posted but they arent working. Could ya double check the links or email them to me please!!!!! Currently those Tein S Tech springs are on ebay for 119 brand new and i wouldnt mind lowering my car for that price if the drop and ride are good.

I had the same problem. What is the filetype of those pics? Make sure they're saved as jpg's or mpg's.

kool i got the same setup...umm was ur front drivers the worst cause it took us like 4 hours just to get that thing in...we used a pry bar and two jacks to jack that sucker up in there.. did ur springs fit on the shocks exactly or did u have to modify the shocks cause my front drivers didnt seat corretly so i just bashed it until it did.... and did u cut any bumpstops or what not ??

i think i cut the bumpstop.... not the front took us about 1.5 hours.... it took us 1 hour on one side but then we knew what to do on the other side so it was alright...

if you didnt know i just got in a crash... so ill be selling my set up... ill be selling my body to a junk yard or if anyone is looking for a hella ****ed up front end....

in total took us 3.5 hours to finish the whole thing.... we had an air gun to assist us and 3 people working on it.... and mind you that we didnt have a spring compressor.... had to do it manually .. man that hsit is scary.... hheheheehe

and everything fit perfectly....

yeah TEIN= GOOD STUFF

OMFG!! I'm glad to see that you guys are still around. Heh. I've heard too many horror stories about 'springs gone wild'. I guess I'm too safe in my old age...I just go by the book. Unless we're talking about moving violations....:icesangel

scary stuff, that is...had a friend once who nearly fractured his brain-case taking a front spring off his Ford without a compressor. Had my back to him while he was working, all I heard was a *TWUNG* and I turned around. My friend's face was white as a sheet and the spring was about 20 feet away on the ground behind him. Compressor is definitely a good idea!

thats why i said i wouldnt advice not using a spring compressor... heehheeheheh

we did it the ghetto way adn it was early as 8 am... so i was either lazy to get it or they were still closed.....

but when it comes to safety guys dont think twice about getting the proper tools.....
