I have been VERY skeptical of stuff like this..... The cheap "cure all" stuff.. However, when I bought this Q, Fred gave me 2 bottles of this stuff...

I waxed the Q with NuFinish yesterday, and looked at the hood, and thought... Damn this thing looks AWEFUL.. Scratches everywhere, cuts, scrapes, everythign. Even my little brother said "what the hell is that all over your hood, i thought you just waxed it".. Incidentally, the car looked better dirty.....

So I found this stuff that Fred gave me. Basically its a colored wax that you get, and it comes with this little crayon thing (wax) that you fill in scratches with... Very handy..

So here are some before and after shots, and this is not a dramatization... it really looks like this, as I shot from the same angles at the same time...

Pictures are VERY large, so I will link them for our 56k people...

Impressive! How long did it take to fill all that?

I actually used NONE of the crayon crap on the hood... Just used the wax on the hood... Filled in one big spot, and thats it...

Total time spent: 20 mins

I had some stress cracks on the bumper, and that looked hiddeous... I used the crayon and topped it off with the wax, and it looks as new.....

Yeah my previous car got keyed on the passenger side door (5 lines of more than a foot)

I was so desperate so I bought one of those to try it out.....the scratch was sooo deep it actually becomes 5 white lines on my BLACK car. I use the crayon to fill the lines and wax it....after that the scrathes are still noticeable in sunlight since they are way too deep but in the dark you cant even tell

And I sold my car just like that without repaint the door and the buyer say the scratch was not that serious

Wow, that stuff is good. Good thing is I bought a whole bunch of them from my local 99cent store a while ago , for only 99 cents each. Don't have time to wax mine yet but will use them soon.

Tip... if you use color cure, dont use automatic car washes, as they tend to remove all of the magic of the chalk.
