So i've been on the forum for a while but always kept to myself so i figured its time i post up for the first time. first of all my name is Matt i bought my 2008 AC 2.5 about a year ago and love it. ive installed a GReddy exhaust, Weapon-R intake, g37s wheels, and thanks to the write up by dangeris i just installed a stillen pulley :mike the job woulda taken about 30 min or so but i didnt have a six inch pulley puller on hand  so i had to go out and borrow one which was a delay. other than that a very easy install thanks again to dangeris. performance wise its great, a major difference, first off when stopped the rpms drop below 1000 (around 700) and stay put unlike the stock which hovered between 1100 and 1400. second is the response, much quicker in revving up and response to the pedal. last big difference was in the electronics, im sitting stock on all my electronics but when my lights were on and the music was up loud or i used the windows, the lights would dim, but not anymore which is nice.

just finished it yesterday but no problems so far. overall well worth the $200 from stillen, defiantly a huge difference from stock. i would suggest reading dangeris's write-up if your thinking about installing your self but power tools, a lift and a pulley puller make all the difference.

again this is my first post so if something isnt right then im sorry so give me a break :)

Hey Matt,

Welcome to the boards, and I'm glad to hear that the pulley has worked out well for you :) If you have any questions, shoot me a PM and I'll be happy to help you out!

Anyone try this for the 3.5? I've heard a couple times that it does have good results, so I just wanna make sure before I pick one up.

I have had mine for quite awhile now. By holding the stock pulley in my left hand and Stillen's in my right you can feel a huge difference in weight and that alone should tell you something. It really felt like it revved up more easily with the Stillen pulley. I recommend it.

ok so its been about a week with the pulley on and thought id add one more plus to those of you who are thinking of getting the stillen pulley and have a cvt..

i live in north San Diego area and have a few little hills, we all know that with the cvt when going down hill the transmission has a high rev sound to keep a semi steady pace to reduce brake use, with the pulley insalled i still keep the semi steady pace but the high rev is brought from about 3000 down to just above 2000rpm making for a quieter cabin :mike .. with an aftermarket exahust this makes a world of diffrence in my opinion. so much nicer gong down hill :mike
