I recieved my PLX M-300 wideband system today to replace my LM-1. i ordered it from streetrays.com. Comparing to the LM-1

PRO's:much nicer, smaller, easier to mount dispaly (main reason for buying)Turns on and off with the car (LM-1 has to be turned on/off manually)display is red (matches my car)Comes with wires to hook up to piggybacks and standalones

CON's:doesnt dataloghas a power and ground wire that need to be hooked up (LM-1 uses a cigarette lighter plug)at 20:1+ afr it jstu reads LEAN at 9:1- reads RICH and during deceleration when all u get is o2 it reads AIR (not really a big deal but LM-1 will still give u numbers even tho by then they arent too accurate)doesnt come with an o2 sensor bung and plug (LM-1 does)

all in all i like this one alot more jsut because of the display and that u dont have to turn it on and off all the time.

you could have wired the LM-1 into an ignition power line if turning it on/off thatbig of a deal. good to see a review on another option for a wideband. how much did it cost?

yea i thought about cutting the plug and wiring it in, but just incase i did want to sell it or the fact that u can remove it very easy, i left it that way. the PLX was $320 shipped, normally $330 shipped i think

just added that it doesnt come with an o2 sensor bung and plug. i paid $20 a while for mine before i bought either unit. so that raises the cost a little more

Little off topic but what did you end up doing with the LM-1? Is it up for sale? If so, how much are you asking for it? Thanks.
