yep, tonight i went out and bought myself the auto dry thing.. and started to wash my car at 1am... but thats not the point the point is, this product is sweet.. there are no spots on my car at all even on the windows.. here is what i think of it...

good: no more drying, soap and filter all in one handy gun looking thing, stores nicely. its small and compact. good spraying nozzle, quite alot of power..

bad: the starter filter it comes with will only wash 3 large cars (SUV's) and probily about 6 washes of a 240 or smaller infiniti.

for the 18$ i payed for it, i say it was worth it as i live in FL and when i try and wash my car in direct sunlight it drys in about 2 mins, so this will help alot.. so for the lazy people out there, or the people that live in hot, sunny places this is well worth the money.. ill let u all know how many washes i do get out of it, but that wont be for a few more weeks..

they now have these at walmart for 19.99$ or at discount auto parts for 18$ there also is an online cupon on their website (i think its http://www.mrclean.com or somthing, i didnt use this)

If spotting is of concern, you can get one of those spot free rinse nozzles at your local As Seen On TV stores. It's basically a small de-ionizer. It works. The pressure is somewhat low out of the nozzle, so you will want to limit it's use to after you wash the car completely. I bought a friend one for X-mas years back. It lasted about a year. I think it was $20.00.

yeah, the mr clean is supposedly real good with light dirt. glad to hear it works, now i wont be sceptical when i go out and get one.

if i could do one wash without a sponge, brush, or drying it would be worth it.

I was wondering how those work...

I would want to be able to use my own soap on it, or do I need to use the Mr. Clean stuff??

How much are the replacement filters???

Yeah, Right now I keep having the problems of water freezing to my car when I try to wash it in the drive way. It typically freezes within 2 mins. Not long enough for me to wash the car. I might have to seek out a new way to wash my car.

they say that other soaps will clog the sprayer, but u could apply the soap yourself then just use the mr. clean thing for the final rinse (thats when u use the filter and produces the spot free rise)

BAH! Of course they say other soaps will clog the sprayer! Hmm... I've been wanting to try this stuff, maybe I'll go get it, but I'll try good old Meguiars in there and see about this "clogging" mess.

The commercial looked tight! I might give It a try. Drying is the longest part when I wash my car. I hate cleaning my front bumper, so many little holes to clean :pface

If the things last only 2-3 washes for my Q, I think Id stick with the old fashion way with my chamois..
