You can buy new 7/5 springs that fit kts.

Also, I wouldn't expect the damping on these to be better than kts. Twin tube is simply a crappy damper setup for high spring rates. Yes it can be made to work, but no, it can't ever be as good as a quality monotube damper.

The benefit of a twin-tube structure over that of a mono-tube is the range of dampening for harder and softer settings and it should provide a better ride for a given level of control. The downside to a twin tube is that there are companies that make cheap inexpensive shocks, and these are no bargain to experience. This is the typical stereotype of a twin tube structure.

What are the benefits of the mono-tube shock? They dissipate heat better and allow for finer damper adjustment (but have a smaller range) and are less likely to have aeration and cavitation.

I think the above review of our product helps to put our dampening characteristics into perspective as well as our manufacturing quality.

Cheers!

it seems as if i need a set of these for my S14.

i was planning on a tein setup and then just buying pillowballs separately, but if these come with pillowballs then that's a slight advantage.

also, i'm looking for a slightly hard spring rate so as to keep it flat in drifting, however, my plans are to swap a VG30DETT into the car, so i'll need something slightly hard up front seeing as i'll be adding a few hundred extra fats to the front end.

so i was thinking something like 8/6 f/r, maybe a little stiffer up front... i'd have to give it some more thought.

wait till i have a few hundred more and you should get an order.

We should have the S14 with 8/6 rates at the end of April (should have been here in March but a little snafu in the paperwork set them back)If you would like to contact me via PM, I'll take your information down and let you know when they arrive to see if your ready then.

Greg, I might be confused but If I could remember you also installed the Stance's not too long ago. If is fair to ask can you tell me how the Endura's compare to the Stance's???

I might be looking for an upgrade to my coils soon time soon....
