No. There is only one. The T3 turbine uses a tangential entry which puts the entire turbo closer to the master cylinder. With a T4 turbo, you can opt for an on-center turbine which locates the axkis of the turbo directly above the turbine entry. It is proprted that certain T3 turbines can fit with the Rev-hard mani. IIRC, it had to do with using a Garrett or a Turbonetics turbine housing. I'm not sure which is which. I'm not sure if anyone here knows the specifics. I know it was discussed in FA some time ago. You may ask there if you can not get an answer here.

Depending on how much clearance you might need, you might have another possible option. You can try machining the flange where it connects to the head to shave off a few millimeters. But that's all you will be able to grind it down to. This may affect clearance of the stud underneath the #4 cylinder as well so you may either have to grind into the #4 runner slightly or shorten the stud slightly.

c-kwik is right. try calling ken at cheapturbo.com or like places to get you an on center housing and your problems will be solved

Actually if you change the housing to a T4 On-Center, you also have to change the turbine wheel to a T4 wheel. Also, if you've already constructed the rest of your kit, then it will also necessitate a change to your piping as the turbo will be relocated a small amount. Even swapping to a better matched T3 housing might change it enough that you would need to redo your piping. Of course, if you haven't started that portion of the work yet, then you should be fine.

That 4 bolt T31 is not what I am referring to. The only turbine that comes in an on-center configuration is the T4.

There are couple pictures on this page:http://64.225.76.178/catalog/inst_dimensions.html

In the right had side of the first diagram, you can clearly see where the foot of the turbine is under the turbo on the On-center housing and offset on the Tangential turbine.

The turbine on that sites appears to be a Turbonetics T3 according to the parts list below the thumbnails. I speculate the Turbonetics housings might be the ones that fit. I suggest you ask around on FreshAlloy. I'm thinking you'll find an aswer there rather quickly. Asad is pretty good at keeping these kinds of facts on hand and pretty good about posting often.

The 4 bolt T31 will not work since it is even more tangential then the Ford unit you have. The most success I have had was with the Garrett T3 housings found on T3/T4 hybrids. I'm not sure about the turbonetics or precision's T3 housing.

I posted this same reply on Freshalloy...

But your problem isn't the turbine, but the fact that your car has ABS.

ABS cars have a thicker brake booster, so it pushes the MC forward at least an inch...and it hits the turbine.

Swap to a non-ABS, 5-speed booster, and you'll be good to go. I know from experience...

(RevHard with T3/T04E, .63 A/R / Stage III, 4-bolt outlet...clears, but barely.)
