okay part of my plans include the turbo from a 1988 z31 300z. i wanted to know if it will fit properly mounted underside a revhard manifold. I am going with the downward mount due to the porting and the fact i wont be showing off my turbo too much.also i haven't looked yet but does anyone know if the i/c from these cars were worth a damn?thanksb

the intercoolers from z31s? Z31s had direct flow systems from the turbo straight up to the intake manifold. There were no intercoolers. :)

As far as the fitment, it should fit since it is a basic T3 flange, but some of the 88s were SS models which really had more of a T25 flange. i would stick with the 85-86 models for this reason. The downpipe will have to be custom made. The T3 turbos downpipes from the z31s would go towards the side instead of down when mounted to a revhard manifold. The z31 manifolds mount the turbo on the side. The revhard manifold mounts them on top of the manifold.
