It doesn't hit it, but won't the heat from the turbo destroy your MC? It is very close.

I always thought something like that might work. What is it made of btw? It almost looks stainless, but it's also freshly machined so it's hard to say. If it is stainless steel, I hope you designed some relief in the bolt holes to the mani and in the turbo flange. Stainless steel expands faster than cast iron. You can sheer those bolts completely off. Also, it might be advisable to create some sort of bolt lock for the allen head bolts in the adapter. Turbo bolts tend to vibrate themselves loose quite easily.

If the turbine housing had been on-center, the turbo would have cleared without modifying the manifold, correct?

No, RevHard works fine without an adapter...it's worked for countless NICO KA-T guys.

The issue here is that he has ABS, so it uses a thicker brake booster and pushes the MC out by an inch or so...

The EASY method is to swap to a non-ABS brake booster, and voila!...problem solved (It's still close, but no closer than his clearance now).

So before this causes confusion...this adapter is a nice piece, but not needed if you don't have ABS, or an auto transmission...they both use the same thicker brake booster.

was it worthe the time and headache( or cost? was it alot of $$$) to do instead of switching to another manifold?
