revese lights wont turn off

So i have a 91 300zx twin turbo thats been sitting around a long time.We jump started it but for some reason the revese lights are on and they wont turn off. Any ideas?

Try unplugging your reverse switch. If it's a manual, it's near the top of the transmission toward the rear of the transmission. On an automatic, I think it's the inhibitor switch that controls that. If the light goes off, you can bet it's the switch. If it doesn't, you have a short in your wiring (check the bulbs and make sure the sockets are fused.)
