reversing sensors and tow bar........

Can any one tell me if i can have reversing sensors along with a tow bar. I bought my car with the reversing sensors , and the garage added a tow bar, and the sensors where switched off. The garage has the car back and ive asked to have the sensors turned on. Thanks.

You didn't mention which vehicle you have. The mechanic probably turned them off when they installed your tow bar because your backup sensors will go off all the time when you are towing since they detect something right behind the car.

Usually, there is a simple way to turn the sensors on and off when you need them, which should be outlined in your owner's manual.
