I sure do feel rather stupid for doing this but I put on my wheels on the opposite side of the car that they were intended for. I only noticed this after having them on for 3 months and having someone point it out to me. Ive been driving on ice and snow on a daily basis and havent noticed a difference a loss in traction. Are there any further complications I could experience after this dumb mistake? Im in the process of getting them switched around.

You actually have "directional" tires on your Rogue?

Directional tires can be identified by an arrow on the sidewall of the tire that points in the direction that the tire is supposed to rotate. Tires lacking this
arrow are considered non-directional even if the tread pattern has a "directional look" for aesthetic reasons.

If you install them backwards, you won't notice any difference on dry pavement, but the car might be more inclined to hydroplane in heavy rain conditions. You might see increased tread-wear, possibly very uneven at that.

Found this question on the FAQ section of Nokian Tires (http://www.nokiantyres.com/faq

(Although the question was asked for studded tires, I am pretty sure the answer is valid for all directional tires)
I mounted one of my studded tyres against the rolling direction and drove it like that through the winter. Did it damage the tyre?
The tyre does not get damaged when it rolls against the specified rolling direction. However, it is recommended that you do not change the rolling direction of a studded tyre during its useful life as this may affect the grip of the studs on the tyre. To achieve the best possible cleaning and slush properties, the tyres should be mounted in their correct rolling direction.

if your tires dont have an arrow on them, then there is no 'wrong' way to install them. your claim to have felt a loss of traction could be your imagination playing tricks. placebo effects. kinda like how people feel their car is more powerful when using "premium" fuels lol

check your side wall for an arrow or (this side out/in) writing. are they aqua tread?
