Anyone ever do this before? Quick mockup:

Reverse the headlights and leave them fixed in the up position?

This. My pop ups just recently became always-up,... because they are broken. Isn't the whole point of pop ups so that they aren't up all the time?

That's what I'm going for. Usually the car's like:

"Oh sorry, haha. Excuse me, pardon me. Oops." *shame*

They wouldn't be able to go down, if switched.

Morph, you must be psychic to be able to discern between normal up headlights and broken headlights, just by looking at them.

Well, if its daytime and they're up, then I assume they are broken.
If its nighttime and they're up but off, then I assume they are broken.

Because no one likes to leave their lights up .

The only time I assume lights are broken... is when one's up, and one's down. That's it.

I have no idea why someone would want their headlights up when they dont need to be...

i wouldn't mod mine like that, but it looks alright I guess....they look angry lol

Unless you suffer from significant cognitive impairment, they will appear mean. There's no way around it.

Not broken, but installed wrong for sure. Considering the number of people doing sleepy-eye mods, I can't imagine people around here are too concerned about 'broken' looking headlights.

I was only wondering if it's been attempted before.I might rotate them down some too. We'll see.

LOL at this thread. I never understood why people like the look of having their pop up headlights stay up at all times. I think that falls into the whole roof rack category.

Sir, I'm going to need for you to calm down. Calm down, sir.

They're just giving me a hard time, it's cool. It's only the internet.

EDIT: I'm not going to do it. Not because y'all be hatin', but it wouldn't be flush up top, even with them extended all the way up. I want an inconspicuous car anyway.

Personally, I think the whole pop up head lights make my car seem super old fashion. Now if they were up all the time, I might as well be throwing on 105 tires and running on multi spoke wheels. I do, however, wouldn't mind seeing some more ACTUAL lazy eye mods with smaller lens'/projectors, not just some severely angled 7x6 housings.

To the OP, just do a S13.4 Kouki conversion. They look badass on a coupe, and I bet your bottom dollar that you'll fall in love with it.

I think I'd rather buy an S14 Kouki... and throw some Zenki tails on the back.

I'm going to try and stay as stock-looking as possible with this car.

I don't know. I've never seen this before, its different but it's cheap. One plus is you can try it, and if you don't like it, easy swap back.

I like my lights up most of the time- they didn't align very well when down, and I don't think they even work anymore. I'm looking toward a more permanent fixed headlight setup at some point.
