Reverse the audio selector??

I have a 2012 Rogue the audio selector seems backwards to me. When I want to go down a playlist or program channel, I want to push down and instead I have to push up.

I was wondering if the switch on the left side of the steering wheel could simply be removed and re-installed upside down? That way what seems up to me would be up, etc....?

Any ideas if this could work and if so, do I simply remove the airbag to get to the audio controls? What is the screw type to get to the airbag removal?

Judging by this photo, I'd have to say no, the switch cannot be inverted.

There is a resistive ladder circuit inside the switch, I do not recall the resistor values off hand.

If you feel like tinkering, you could get a used switch from a junkyard, take it apart, and desolder/swap the resistors for the up/down buttons.

From my personal life experience, human beings can easily adapt to various conditions. Try to "reverse" your "switch functionings" lobe in your brain. It is safer than monkeying with the airbag!

Wanna know how to do it easily and for free?!?! If you turn your steering wheel 180 degrees to the left or right then the switch dilemma is solved!

In settings you can switch the default behaviour of up/down switches.
