reverse lights went out???

my reverse lights went out and i check the bulbs but they r fine...what is wrong???

Reverse light switch in the transmission gone out? Happened to me.

are the reverse lamp wire (green white) and constant voltage (green blue) wires still connected to the transmission?? test them for current

well, they DO need to work if you hope to pass most state inspections. but you dotn really HAVE to fix em. last tiem i checked, its not illegal, its just a safety precaution for your car. ie: seeign in the dark whiel backign up, or makign sure people dnt try to drive by you as you back out of parkign spaces.
