reverse lights stopped working on s14

ok so after i got my tint i noticed that my reverse lights dont work. so i went and checked the bulbs. and their fine.

is there a common problem or anything to check for with the wiring or should i just get a voltmeter and start touchin things? also do they got a fuse?

Have someone put it in reverse and unplug the socket and check for voltage. If none there I would check the fuses. If not the fuse then you have some wiring to go through.

if its a manual trans you could eliminate the entire circuit by jumping the connector to the switch on the trans. On the trans there are 3 connectors along the passenger side main body of the trans. the furthest forward connector/switch is your reverse. Jump those 2 terminals and turn the key on. if your reverse lights illuminate you have a bad switch. your jumping the terminals in the harness side connector not the switch cide connector.

If you have an automatic post back and I will give you the instructions for testing that one as it is different.
