reverse lights not working?

it just dawned to me that my lights don't turn on when im going in reverse, basically when i put my stick into Reverse the lights don't turn on, i have a 5-speed z32 and i was wondering if anybody could help me out here? i tried Yahoo Answers, but nothing. as much detail as possible would be perfect! i know for a fact my bulbs are fine, and i dont have a fuse box cover (interior one) so if someone could tell me where to look at my fuses, or what else i can do would help me a lot! thanks in advance

Get the car in the air and take a look at your transmission. On your passenger side there should be a couple sets of connectors, one connector is for your speed sensor (for the cruise control IIRC, please correct me if I'm wrong), and the other is for your reverse lights. My bet would be one of those wires has come undone. My friends Z32 had both sets of wires come out of the connectors on the trans and neither his reverse lights nor cruise control were working. Theyre a pain in the a** to get to and fix, especially if the wires have come out of the connector itself.
