Reverse Lights not working after manual swap

Alright I followed the 5 speed swap guide to the tee and my reverse lights still dont work. Car is a sohc, and this is what I did to try and get them to work...

except I connected the wires after the plug instead of before (which shouldnt matter). Any suggestions? I need to pass inspection.

also checked fuse, and lights, nothing.

did you check the reverse switch to see which wires are coming from it and to check if it's working ok?

i think that swap was for a dohc.

chech the reverse sensor on your transmission. mine had a loose connection.

the switch is fine... the wires were re-sodered
