OK, I need to get my reverse lights to work for my car to pass inspection. The reverse sensor is all plugged into the harness and everything down there (I'm using the RB lower harness), but the lights don't work. I'm guessing I have to run a wire to/from the ECU somewhere, can anyone help out??

Also, I need to wire my speed sensor. I'm using the KA cluster and I have a KA speed sensor, but I'm using the RB lower harness so there's nowhere for the speed sensor to just plug into. Thoughts?

Still trust you?

edit: nm, I saw the thread. Whatever, there are 2 sides to every story and yours sounds just as good as his (while being punctuated much better, I might add), and it seems like you know your s*** anyways :)

There are 2 identical grey plugs around the fuse box, one between the box & the engine...one between the box and the strut tower....

The one between the strut tower and the fuse box has the reverse wires in it...I think they are 1)green and 2)black Thy go to a green/blue and a green/white on the other side of the plug if I remember right.

Can you remember what wires need to be connected in terms of what harnesses they come off of? I'm assuming that wires from the gray RB lower harness plug will need to be connected to wires somewhere else (to a gray plug between the fuse box and the strut?).

edit: With the gray plug between the strut tower and fuse box (it's kind of oval-shaped), the wires I found are green/blue, blue/green, green/yellow, and yellow/green. The square gray plug coming from the RB lower harness has a green wire coming off of it, and a green/white, but I don't see a black....

The best thing, if you still can, is to use the KA lower harness, then all this mess is taken care of....

I am unsure of the wires for the RB harness as I use the KA lower...I would say, since you only have 2 sensors that are not the speed sensor, put the trans in neutral, send power to one side of the plug and see if you get power...if not, then put it in reverse and see if you get power that way...that is your reverse sensor, then hook those wires to grey plug...the green/white I know for sure feeds the reverse lights, the green/blue is the power to the reverse switch in the trans.

The black one is in the lower harness, I cant remember which plug it goes to...you gotta just start tracing wires until you find the 2 that go to the reverse sensor.
