Reverse Light Wire near Radio Deck?

Hi All,

I am in the midst of installing my Clarion NX602 and am going to hook it up to the back up camera I installed earlier. The back up camera required a splice at the reverse lights and the deck requires a splice also to activate the video signal. The harness only came with wire to reach around the front interior of the car. Is there somewhere around the deck I can splice into? I have an automatic but could not find anything around the auto shifter that resembled the green/white wire at the back of the car. Or is my only option to splice in a new wire and run it all the way back to the reverse lights?

there should be a harness on the trans under the car that has the wires you seek
