Reverse light problem?

recently did 5 speed swap and wired the reverse light up and alternator went bad on me but then i went to go wire up the reverse light up again today and and radio started to flicker and lights were not turning on i wired up the the blue green wire to one side and the green white on the other side but lights would not work ? but lights work when i put green white and green blue together but then the radio cuts out untill u un connect the two i do not want to fry another alternator and tomorrow im trying to get my inspection

So were your reverse lights working before your alt went bad?
