Reverse light doesn't work

What could be the problem?! i was checkin my speed sensor and i noticed i have 2 cut wires, their white and it's like a plug. could that be the problem my reverse lights don't work or what could it be?>

it is possible. The sensor is in the middle of the transmission. Just wire it up and see what happens. It does not matter which wire goes where, as long as its a close circuit then it will work.
