Reverse Lcd Color On Odometer

Somebody earlier mentioned that on new Rogues odometer and radio have opposite color combination. So instead black on orange like it used to be Nissan started to put orange on black. So I bought reverse lcd polarized film and here it is:
Take out the speedometer

Disassemble it by pulling clips with screw driver but you don't have to remove the back cover

Peel off the cover for the screen and take out the screen. Be careful not to break the pins.
There's a film on it that you have to remove with razor.

Remove the glue with adhesive remover. Make sure it is clean surface.

And apply the new reverse lcd film

There's a set of soldered leds so you have solder new ones in order to change the color. I'm pretty sure if you're interested you can find on ebay.
BTW. I still think this is too bright so I probably apply another layer but not sure if it's gonna change the color again so more pics coming.

Hey Leo, another great mod, Nice!!

If you ever open up the cluster again, could you do me a big favor and take macro pictures
of the LEDs used for the gauges (From what I see, it should be PLCC2 or PLCC4 LEDs)? And the LEDs used behind the cluster you have just changed?

I still need to find some time and go to a salvage yard to get spare parts of the Rogue in order to change it a bit (Don't like the orange look).
